Just a few Brisbane City East driving and traffic situations you could expect to encounter during your driving lesson aside from the heavily congested major roads to quite side roads and rolling terrain includes:
- Heidelberg Street (busy local road, bus route, residential, road furniture, traffic lights, traffic calming, turning lanes, unmarked lanes.
- Oaklands Parade (busy local road, bus lane, crossings school, edge lines, intersections, playgrounds, school zones, road furniture, traffic calming) please be aware that 'Churchie' is on both sides of Oaklands Parade and at all times of the students are crossing the road so extra care is needed.
- Latrobe Street (main road, multi-lane, one-way, residential, retail areas, traffic lights, turning lanes).
- Vulture Street East (major arterial road, bus route, commercial, edge lines, merges, multi-lane, one-way intersections, residential, retail areas, traffic lights, turning lanes). This can be heavily congested especially if sporting event on at the Gabba and in rush hour so a very challenging drive for a learner.
We offer all Brisbane City East student’s flexible driving lesson and driving test arrangements such as meeting you before or after school or work at home, school, work or other nearby location e.g. transport link (bus stop, train station), your work or sports ground, etc.
