I started driving with Mike a few weeks ago and got off to a wonderful start. Mike is calm and very knowledgeable. I had been with a few different schools before L PASSO, and honestly learnt more in one lesson with Mike than the 10-hour packages with highly named school instructors. He picked up my bad driving habits instantaneously and made sure I was driving correctly and safely.

Mike doesn’t teach only for the test, he teaches how to be safe for whenever you are on the road. He aims to make you the safest driver on the road while taking care of others. The two-hour lessons are invaluable and have drastically improved my driving. Instead of teaching using so called formulas, he teaches to adapt to varying conditions, so you can drive everywhere in the safest manner possible in all situations.

Had taken some lessons with a major driving school and i explained to them that I have autism and have major anxiety issues they told me they were the boss and to pull my head in that made my anxiety worse.

My friend put me in touch with Mike from L Passo and he was very understanding.

We did a few lessons together and my anxiety levels were at an all time low whilst driving.

Mike is very calm and knows how to teach in a friendly professional manner, when Mike thought I was ready for my test he organised everything for me and made it really easy.

I passed my test first time with flying colours i am so happy and recommend L Passo to everyone.

Mike was my driving instructor from when I started learning manual all the way up to getting my Ps. He is such a knowledgeable instructor, knowing how to deal with first-timers and nervous students like me! He tailored his approach to meet my needs, changing his explanation style if there was something I couldn't understand/could grasp better. Learning manual after 50hrs of automatic was like starting all over again, but Mike made me comfortable and set a great pace for learning from there :) Reasonable price. A genuine & friendly guy - what's not to like? I asked for some lessons as a birthday present, and Mike made me feel a confident & safe driver to pass my test first go.
